New Family Guide for Parents and Guardians with Disabilities
The DOE, in collaboration with the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities, has released the Family Guide for Parents & Guardians with Disabilities. This guide provides support to parents and guardians with disabilities, as they navigate their child’s school experience. The guide will also be available in the ten DOE languages by the end of this week (links to translations will be included in the English version), and hard copies of the guide will be available at Family Welcome Centers by March 16. You should share this information with your staff and school community.
